Saturday Shakespeare Drama Club

Look out for our Saturday Shakespeare Drama club for interactive and experiential workshops that include theatre skills such as - theatre performance, mask work, improvisation, screen & stage make-up design, script writing, stage combat and much more. It changes every few months so stay tuned to our website or social media! This Drama Club is suitable for children 8 - 15 years of age.

Theatre Time

Theatre Time is S4A’s interactive drama workshop for youngsters aged 3 – 8 years of age and is designed to introduce young people to the magic of storytelling and the power of the imagination. These workshops include building soft skills such as spatial awareness, coordination, problem solving, decision making and communication, using drama as the medium of instruction.

Gala Audition Workshop

Our Audition workshops offer expert guidance from industry professionals to help showcase your talent with confidence. It's a fun way learn about the basics of performing, and what to expect during an audition. It will also prepare you for the audition for our Gala performance!

Ignite The Stage

Ignite the Stage is S4A's newest transformative theatrical workshop series that will ignite your passion for theatre and empower you through drama-based learning. Each series is based on a different topic and will be facilitated by industry professionals. These topics include: drama basics, stage preparation, life skills, and technical aspects of theatre. ⁠Ignite the Stage is open to all members of the community, kids & adults.

Pop Up Summer Workshops

Our Pop Up Summer Workshops offer an exciting summer drama programme featuring studio classes, interactive workshops, rehearsals and a final production. These workshops provide a fun and creative environment where participants can develop their acting skills and explore the world of drama, equipped with simple props and costumes, and feature in a drama production.

Powerhouse Project

Running from 2018 to 2023 and funded by HKJC, the Powerhouse Project was a programme developed to allow students to gain more knowledge and experience of working backstage. Students had the opportunity to work with different backstage production teams, such as lighting and sound. Students then selected their favourite department and worked within it during the Gala, gaining hands-on experience and insights into the world of backstage production. This then provided them with the opportunity to build their production portfolio.
