Story of Lubie

As part of an ongoing series of conversations with S4A alumni, we spoke with Lubie who was part of Shakespeare4All’s 2023 Gala performance, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream - The Elements of Magic”, an adaptation of the Bard’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. She played the role of Robin Starveling as part of the Mechanicals (a group of actors who perform a play within ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’). Lubie told us about a moment during rehearsals that not only empowered her to become a better performer, but also a more expressive and confident young adult.

Story of Eunice

As part of an ongoing series of conversations with S4A alumni, we spoke with Eunice who was part of Shakespeare4All’s 2023 Gala performance, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream - The Elements of Magic”, an adaptation of the Bard’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. She played the role of Franics Flute as part of the Mechanicals (a group of actors who perform a play within “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”). In our conversation, Eunice reminisced about the funny moments during the rehearsal and spoke about the significance of Gala experience to her growth.

Jasmine told us about how the programme helped her develop her confidence and was an opportunity to make new friends.

As part of an ongoing series of conversations with S4A alumni, we spoke with Mirko who has been involved in Shakespeare4All’s Gala performances of “Hamlet", “Julius Caesar", “Antony and Cleopatra”, “King Lear”, and “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. Mirko told us about how they joined S4A as a shy and naive person, however has grown into someone who is outgoing and eager to show the world what they're truly capable of!
