Shakespeare In Action Production

Sponsored by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) since 2018, the "Shakespeare in Action" Project offers an exhilarating year-long English drama programme for primary and secondary schools. This program immerses students in the world of Shakespeare through dynamic English drama activities. Each year, students engage with a specially selected Shakespearean text, reading, analysing, and bringing it to life, all while fostering a love for English drama and boosting their self-confidence.

Participants enjoy a rich program that includes:

• Attending a professional theatre show with an exclusive backstage tour.
• Participating in 24 hours of drama classes, featuring interactive workshops, auditions, and rehearsals.
• Culminating in a thrilling performance at a professional venue.

"Shakespeare in Action" is designed to ignite students' passion for drama and enhance their appreciation of Shakespeare, making the Bard's works accessible and exciting.
